The Pirates and Pearls Garden Bash will delight all you hearties as it raises funds for everyone’s cherished non-profit, Molly’s House, on September 21, 2019 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

There will be live entertainment, dastardly pirates, beautiful mermaids, Caribbean cuisine provided by The Gafford, a full bar featuring craft beers and cocktails, silent auctions and much more.

The festivities will take place at Molly’s House, 430 SE Osceola Street in Stuart.

VIP tickets are $125 per person through August 30th and increasing to $150 thereafter. VIPs will enjoy an exclusive private party from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM that will include a live show and rum tasting, followed by a night-long open bar.

General admission is $75 per person through August 30th and increasing to $100 thereafter. The price includes two drink tickets followed by a cash bar.

Seats are limited so be sure to get your tickets today. Private tables of eight or ten are available for purchase and include VIP tickets and seating in a prime location at the event.

All proceeds will benefit Molly's House, which was the dream project of Molly Sharkey, who was diagnosed with chronic myelocytic leukemia when she was 12 years old.

Molly and her family traveled the country for six years trying to find treatment for her rare disease. In some cities they were lucky to find a Ronald McDonald House in which to stay and be close to Molly in the hospital. In other cities there was nowhere convenient for the family.

This experience prompted Molly’s dream of building a house in her home town of Stuart and make it available to any family with a loved one being treated for critical care at Martin Health System (now Cleveland Clinic).

Molly passed away in May of 1992, at age 18, leaving behind her journal filled with her ideas for building Molly’s House.

Family and friends committed to raising the needed funds and in April, 1995, a piece of property was purchased at 430 S.E. Osceola Street in Stuart on which to build Molly’s dream. A ground-breaking ceremony was held in June and construction began in August, 1995. The grand opening was held on September 21, 1996 to celebrate what would have been Molly’s 23rd birthday and the beginning of a dream come true.

Molly’s House is a three-story Victorian style house built to her specifications with a wrap-around porch, spiral staircase, flower beds and lots of windows.

The 11,000-square foot residence has two family suites, 12 bedrooms with private baths, two kitchens, library, laundry room, lounge area and large front and back porches.

Come help us celebrate Molly’s legacy!
