The newly awarded accreditation status will remain in effect through 2030, marking a significant milestone in the District's pursuit of educational excellence.
Cognia accreditation is a comprehensive evaluation that assesses various facets of school district operations, including policies and classroom environments, to ensure the system effectively meets the needs of all students. The process comprises three key phases: Self-Assessment, Engagement, and Continues Improvement.
The journey towards reaccreditation commenced in August 2023, as the District's leadership team initiated the self-assessment phase, meticulously collecting and analyzing data to identify areas of strength and opportunities for growth. In January 2024, the Engagement Review began, featuring a systemwide review by Cognia experts who highlighted commendable practices occurring in the District, including fostering a supportive learning environment and emphasizing preparedness for the future.
