Meet Lincoln - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

Lincoln is a 5-year-old hound mix who has been waiting for a home since April. This smart boy loves treats and knows many basic commands like sit, paw and down. Lincoln has done well with other dogs at the shelter but a meet and greet would be requested prior to adoption.

Meet BeeBee - Our Macaroni Kitty of the Week

BeeBee is a sweet gentleman who arrived at HSTC when his owner became unwell and he could no longer care for his pets. BeeBee has lived with another cat in his previous home, but he was sometimes bullied by his feline friend. He did well around children!

BeeBee is visually impaired. He will eventually be fully blind, but he uses his other senses amazingly well, and sometimes you'll have a hard time even knowing he has a hard time seeing! He does not need extra medical care related to this, but as he loses his vision his family will want to keep his surroundings consistent. He loves to spend time in the sun, is playful, and enjoys being brushed.

A note from BeeBee's foster mommy:

"Hey folks, Mr. Beebee here, in search of a human with a lap to share. Food and shelter is good too, but lap is most important. Human with stay at home desk job is perfect -- plenty of lap time for Mr. Beebee. Mr. Beebee will consider other lap arrangements on a case by case basis.

Humans say I have special needs. Mr. BeeBee says "of course I is special! I has little white star on my chest so very special."

Human say my eyes not good. Mr. Beebee say watch me in video chase toys like crazy cat. No worries for Mr. Beebee.

Mr. Beebee also excellent therapist: you give me lap, I listen to problem and make go away by purring very loud.

Foster Mama says I have good cat box manners and make great kitty companion for someone with lap to share."

BeeBee is currently in a foster home! Please email catfoster@hstc1.org or call us at 772-223-8822 ext 3220 to schedule an appointment to meet him!
