Library’s Winter Reading Challenge Gives Kids A Chance To Win Prizes

December 14, 2023

The Martin County Library System, with support from the Friends of the Martin County Library System, Inc. is proud to partner with Culver’s in presenting the annual Winter Reading Challenge, happening now through January 3, 2024. This collaboration offers prizes to children as an incentive for reading during their winter breaks from school. For example, children that read five books will win a Culver’s Frozen Custard. Those that read ten books will win a Culver’s Kids Meal and one free book. The reading level of the book prizes are for 12-year-olds and under.

Children are invited to participate by picking up a reading log bookmark at any Martin County Library System location. There are also options to track their reading virtually at mcls.beanstack.org or by downloading the free Beanstack app for Apple or Android to track reading on mobile devices.
