Helping Pets Find Forever Homes

By Humane Society of the Treasure Coast January 26, 2024

Meet Maggie - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

Maggie is a precious, 4-year-old, female pup who was sadly surrendered to the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast due to her owner’s declining health. She lived peacefully with another dog in her previous home but has no experience with cats. She knows many basic commands and is crate trained. Maggie would love to find a new owner that has a comfy bed so she can sleep next to them just as she did in her last home.

Meet Ponyo - Our Macaroni Bunny of the Week

Ponyo is an Angora rabbit who has been waiting for a home since May of 2023. He was severely neglected and under-socialized but has since been learning that humans are not so bad after all. He is very treat motivated, which has helped tremendously with gaining his trust. Ponyo will need a confident handler with a quiet home. He’s lived peacefully with cats and a small dog in his foster home.
