Meet Peek and Boo - Our Macaroni Furry Critters of the Week
Peek and Boo are 4-month-old, male guinea pigs. Guinea Pigs are naturally social creatures, and these two are bonded so they must go home together. They love a variety of enrichment toys and would enjoy a large enclosure so they can be comfortable and have plenty of room to roam and explore. Peek and Boo are young guinea pigs and can easily be trained to respond to tricks or the sound of their owner's voice.
Meet Pico - Our Macaroni Kitty of the Week
Pico is a gorgeous, 2-year-old male cat who arrived at our shelter last month. He gets along great with other respectful cats and is very affectionate. Pico loves to play with a variety of toys but also loves to just relax and sit on your lap. He is an overall wonderful kitty that deserves to find the best home.

These pets and many more are available for adoption through the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. Locations to adopt are the HSTC Main Shelter at 4100 SW Leighton Farm Avenue in Palm City; the HSTC Thrift Store Central at 2585 SE Federal Highway in Stuart; and the HSTC Thrift Store North at 1099 NW 21st Street in Stuart. Normal adoption hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The adoption fee is waived for any senior pet 7 years and older.
