Join The YMCA of the Treasure Coast for their Annual Healthy Kids Day®, the Y’s national initiative to improve the health and well-being of kids and families, happening on Saturday, April 20, 2024!
YMCAs across the country host FREE community events aimed to inspire kids to keep their minds and bodies active throughout the summer months. The YMCA of the Treasure Coast, will host events at each of their three branches:
- 11:00 AM - 01:00 PM - Stuart Main Branch, 1700 SE Monterey Road, Stuart, 34996
- 09:00 AM - 11:00 AM - Indiantown Branch, 16451 SW Farm Road, Indiantown, 34956
- 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM - Port St. Lucie Branch, 1301 SW Bayshore Blvd., PSL 34983
The Indiantown Branch will kick off Healthy Kids Day with a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of their newly-refurbished pool. The Healthy Kids Day event will immediately follow the ribbon cutting.
Healthy Kids Day is a fun day the whole family will enjoy. The event features summer camp, fitness, and first responder demonstrations, vendors, DJ music, face painting, fairy hair, glitter tattoos, balloon animals, arts & crafts, Kona Ice, FREE food, FREE books, contests and lots more. All activities are designed to inspire kids to get active while simultaneously teaching families how to develop routines that support mental and physical health at home.
The Y believes kids can do anything with the right support and are committed to helping kids get on, and stay on, a healthy youth development journey that includes physical, cognitive, and social-emotional growth.
