There’s “More to the Story” during National Library Week

April 6, 2023

Martin County Library System encourages all community members to visit their local library during National Library Week, April 23 – 29, 2023, and explore our innovative libraries. Most people know about the wealth of stories available at the library, from picture books and large print to audiobooks and eBooks – but there's so much more to the story!

Libraries are welcoming spaces that bring communities together for entertainment, education, and connection through book clubs, story times, concerts, movie events, crafting, lectures, and more. MCLS offers a wide array of activities appealing to all ages, including cutting-edge idea labs and makerspaces at all locations.

To make this all possible, the library depends on feedback from the community and invites library users to share their opinions via our Annual Satisfaction Survey beginning April 3, 2023. The survey will be available in both print and online formats.

For those that have not been to the library in a while, we encourage visiting our idea labs. These energetic, interactive spaces offer technology ranging from digital equipment to modern crafting devices, and much more! Cardholders have the opportunity to upgrade library cards to a free idea lab card and take advantage of the state-of-the-art offerings.
