The Martin County Community Action Coalition (MCCAC), along with Tykes & Teens, and other community partners are calling on teens and their parents/caregivers to fight substance abuse at the next Youth Summit & Parent Café.
The annual event next takes place on Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the Elisabeth Lahti Library in Indiantown. Teens can win prizes, play games and learn about leadership, while parents can learn the signs and discover techniques to avoid youth substance use. Highlights of the event include:
- Earn community service hours
- Free food and giveaways
- Leadership development training
