Meet Jamal - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week
2-year-old Jamal has had a hard time adjusting to the kennel life after he was surrendered to our shelter back in February. Jamal had many fears and had a hard time trusting new humans. After months of TLC and training, we are happy to announce that Jamal is finally learning to trust again! This brave boy loves toys, dog pools, and playing fetch. He is looking for a quiet home with an owner that can give him the time and patience that he needs to adjust.
Meet Stripey - Our Macaroni Kitty of the Week
Baby Stripey is a 10-year-old male who is an absolute sweetheart. He loves to snuggle, give kisses and cuddles, and has a gentle personality. Baby Stripey has a unique look due to a bald spot on his nose. We think his nose is adorable and just makes him all the more special!

These pets and many more are available for adoption through the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. Locations to adopt are the HSTC Main Shelter at 4100 SW Leighton Farm Avenue in Palm City; the HSTC Thrift Store Central at 2585 SE Federal Highway in Stuart; and the HSTC Thrift Store North at 1099 NW 21st Street in Stuart. Normal adoption hours are Monday through Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Sunday 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The adoption fee is waived for any senior pet 7 years and older.
