Meet Fischer - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week
Fischer has only been here at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast since the end of January, but he is already tired of being cooped up in a kennel. He is very ready for a home of his own! A few of Fischer’s favorite activities are rolling in the grass, cuddling, and receiving lots of pats and head-scratches. At 9 years old, he is over-all a pretty laid-back guy. He arrived at HSTC as a stray, so we don’t really know too much about his past. Fischer is approximately 9 years old and appears to be an American Pit Bull Terrier mix. His adoption fee has been sponsored by Home Team Lending!
Meet Stella - Our Macaroni Kitty of the Week
Can you believe that Stella has been at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast since September of last year?! This beautiful princess has been overlooked one too many times and is desperate to finally find a forever, loving home. She was surrendered because the little girl in the household was ill so Stella couldn’t live there anymore. Her previous owners loved her very much and described her as a couch potato, independent, and quiet. She previously lived with kids and did great but can be scared around small children due to their quick movements! She is very friendly to people she knows but takes a little time to warm up to visitors. Once she knows you, she becomes a purr machine and shares ALL her love with you! Stella is very afraid of dogs and can be picky about her cat friends so she would do best as the only animal in the home. There’s a chance she might do well with another respectful kitty as long as you give them a long and slow introduction to get used to each other. Stella is currently available for adoption at our North thrift store located at 1099 NW 21st St, Stuart. Stop by the store even if you can’t adopt - she would love some extra attention and TLC!
