Martin County School District faculty and staff are pleased to invite toddler/preschool-aged children and their families to participate in their virtual read-along story times.
Virtual Story Time will take place on Fridays at 9:30 AM LIVE on the Martin County School District's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/MCSDFlorida).
The next read-along takes place on Friday, December 4, 2020. Principal Stacy Schmit of Bessey Creek Elementary School in Palm City is the guest reader.
The COVID-19 pandemic has led many parents/guardians to elect to have their children participate in learning activities from home. The Martin County School District's virtual story time events allow families of toddler and preschool-aged children to enjoy listening as a principal or other school administrator reads an engaging, age-appropriate story each week. This is a safe and convenient way for families to get to know the administration at their home-zoned school before their child starts VPK or kindergarten. Following each read-along, families will be presented with an activity they can complete together and email back to the District to receive special recognition for their child.
