Library Inspires Readers Of All Ages To
‘Imagine Their Story’ As Summer Reading Program Begins

Starting May 29, 2020, readers of all ages will be equipped to prevent the dreaded summer slide as Martin County Library System (MCLS) presents the Summer Reading Program, themed “Imagine Your Story.”

  • Kids (babies through grade 5): Register at mcls.beanstack.org or download the (free) Beanstack Tracker app for iOS/Android (or for a paper reading log, come to the hold pick up station at your local library) to track your progress. Read books, earn free book prizes, and qualify for a grand prize upon completing the program!

  • Teens (grades 6 through 12): Submit online book reviews via mcls.beanstack.org. Earn volunteer time for each review submitted and entry into a $50 Amazon gift card raffle!

  • Adults: Participate all summer long by signing up at mcls.beanstack.org in order to receive weekly book recommendations!

Special events and activities are planned to accompany the program. Visit our online events calendar or follow the MCLS Facebook page for Summer Reading Programming information. For all Summer Reading Program details, search “summer reading” on the library website or go to www.martin.fl.us/summer-reading-program-2020.

The Summer Reading Program is a national initiative observed annually designed to offer incentives for reading and offer educational, entertaining events that encourage literacy activities for those of all ages. This free program and coinciding events are sponsored by The Library Foundation of Martin County, Inc.
