January 9, 2020

The Martin County School District is hosting parent orientation on child trafficking instruction and other health education mandates on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Martin County High School Auditorium, 2801 South Kanner Highway, Stuart 34994.

The sessions are being offered as a result recently passed Florida State Board of Education rules related to Health Education. The parent orientation will address the District’s plan to implement child trafficking prevention, mental and emotional health, and substance use and abuse health education. Parents are encouraged to attend to learn more about these mandates and have their questions answered about how the District will implement the curriculum.
