Bring the family over to the Audubon of Martin County's Possum Long Nature Center on Saturday, January 18, 2020 for a Birds & Butterflies special event the kids are sure to enjoy. The fun starts at 3:00 PM and runs until 5:00 PM.
Participants can tour the nature center trails and gardens and attend a fun and educational workshop focused on birds and butterflies in our own backyard. Kids can come dressed as a bird or butterfly to be entered for a chance to win a butterfly growing kit.
Activities for the day include arts and crafts, birdhouse decorating, face painting, butterfly garden tours, native plant giveaways and more. Refreshments will also be provided.
The event is free however a suggested donation of $5 per family is greatly appreciated. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
