Treasure Coast Food Bank’s annual Turkey Drop Day takes place on Saturday, November 16, 2019. Help ensure that everyone on the Treasure Coast can share in a traditional holiday meal by donating an uncooked, frozen turkey for a family struggling with hunger.
Treasure Coast Food Bank will have its refrigerated trucks stationed at locations throughout Martin, St. Lucie and Indian River counties to collect turkeys.
“We’re grateful that each year the community helps us provide traditional holiday meals for those who struggle to find food,” said Judith Cruz, President and CEO of Treasure Coast Food Bank. “We strive to make sure that everyone can share in the tradition of a holiday meal, including turkeys, for as many families in need as possible.”
The annual Turkey Drop is part of Treasure Coast Food Bank’s Great Holiday Food and Fund Drive, which runs through the end of the year. Food drives and cash donations not only provide holiday meals but help keep food available to people in need for months to come. To learn more, visit stophunger.org/events.
