Tykes & Teens Helps Parents of Tweens “Map the Middle” - 10/12

September 19, 2019

Parents of middle school youth are invited to a FREE event where they can ask therapists from Tykes & Teens everything they want to know about raising tweens, but are afraid to ask! The event, titled Mapping the Middle: Cookies and Conversation, will feature a panel of 4 experts who will discuss trending topics including how to talk to your kids about sex, body image and self-esteem, addiction, and how to create an open and healthy relationship with your teen. The event takes place Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM at the Indian River State College Wolf High Technology Center on the Chastain Campus in Stuart.

Presenters include Jeffrey Shearer founder and CEO of Tykes & Teens, and therapists Samantha Robinson, Karen Moore and Andrea Greenlee.

Morning refreshments will be served and attendees will have the opportunity to engage with therapists and ask questions in a casual, relaxed environment.

The event is co-sponsored by Children’s Services Council of Martin County and C.O.R.E. The event is free, but space is limited and registration is required by emailing Agnieszka@tykesandteens.org or calling Dr. Marshall at 772-220-3439.
