Martin County Parks and Recreation staff has created exciting events for residents and visitors this summer in honor of National Park and Recreation Month. Residents can play a hot game for cool prizes and attend a FREE Family Fun Day - all in the name of fun!
The Family Fun Day will be held at Indian RiverSide Park on Saturday, July 13, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This FREE event will feature face painting, field games and more. Food trucks and vendors will also be onsite to satisfy cravings!
During the month of July, residents are also encouraged to complete challenges for a chance to win awesome prizes! Don't delay, only the first 10 complete challenge entries received will win a prize. Challenge entries must be submitted by July 31st at 11:59 PM. Here's how it works:
- Download the Parks Challenge Card www.martin.fl.us/resources/parks-challenge
- Visit Martin County parks and complete each one of the challenges listed on the card (6 of the 9 must be complete for a chance to win)
- Take a photo holding the card after completing the challenges and check the appropriate white box on the front of the card
- Once the challenges are complete, e-mail all photos and challenge card with entry name and phone number to events@martin.fl.us (one e-mail per participant, incomplete entries won't be accepted)
- Upload photos on social media and use the hashtags #LoveMCParks #GameOnJuly
- Tag @MyMCParks on Facebook
Take the challenge this July by getting your game on in Martin County parks - bring the family to Indian RiverSide Park on July 13th, visit a Martin County beach, shoot hoops, or fish at a Martin County park and so much more!
