Head over the the Hobe Sound Nature Center to celebrate Earth Day on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and plan for a whole lot of family fun! Activities scheduled for the day include:
- 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM - Hook Kids on Fishing Clinic - clinic is open to all children ages 6 to 16 with a parent. Participants will receive fishing poles, tackle and attend mini sessions to learn fishing basics before fishing along the banks of the Indian River Lagoon. - 11:30 - 1:30 - Face painting
- 12:30 PM - Exploring the Grassflats - Participants will catch and release small marine animals that call the estuary home. This popular "get wet" activity is recommended for ages 4 and up with a parent. No need to sign up, just show up ready to get wet in the classroom at 12:30!
- Kid's crafts and games all day!
