Mad Science camps engage kids in scientific themes though in-class exploration and outdoor activities, creating and unforgettable summer experience. Two locations, Hobe Sound & Jensen Beach and three exciting camps, Inventors & Explorers, Spy Academy and Fun-gineering to choose from!
Mad Science is noted for its trademark 'edu-tainment' philosophy, which cultivates incredible enthusiasm and a sense of wonder in children. We believe that children are born scientists. Children are naturally curious about the world around them, and we believe that we must harness that curiosity in today's youth in order to help foster a lifelong love of science and learning. Our adherence to our core philosophies and beliefs that science should be fun and inquiry based, allows us to continually engage our campers natural curiosity and desire to touch, see and do. We provide them with the opportunity to engage in hands-on exploration and witness truly amazing scientific phenomena. Our summer camps offer kids a break from the traditional classroom by providing fun activities and mental stimulation to keep their brains sharp! Our campers create, build and assemble a variety of take-home projects while exploring how science affects the world around us, and they have so much fun doing so that they forget that they’re actually learning!
In addition to Martin County, we also run camp in Jupiter and throughout Palm Beach county. Our Jupiter location offers aftercare until 5:30 PM and has additional camp theme offerings for older and younger children. Please visit our website for a complete schedule.

Camp Descriptions:
- Fun-gineering - Take an in-depth look at the science behind everyday machines and cool science in this camp about engineering. We’ll see how your Jr. Mad Scientist brings their inner engineer to life while they construct an amazing kaleidoscope, learn about levers and automatons and create their own contraptions. In the process even become architects by building our own geodesic dome that we’ll even get a chance to climb inside!
- Inventors & Explorers - Creative Contraption Warning! This is a camp designed by you—the Inventor! Each day you’ll be given a series of challenges which must be overcome by using basic materials, simple machines, tips from world famous inventors and the most important thing of all – your mind! With a little bit of ingenuity you’ll construct catapults and forts and then lay siege, fabricate a winning Egg Drop design, construct a dancing robot and assemble a working light saber to take home. While Thomas Edison said invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration, this camp is 100% fun!
- Spy Academy - Ever dream of becoming a secret agent? We'll start with the basics: From decoding messages to metal detectors and night vision. Campers will have the opportunity to check out spy tech equipment and take home lots of gadgets like spy glasses! Step into the shoes of a detective as you uncover the science involved in evidence gathering and analysis! Figure out the science of forensics in a hands-on look at crime scenes! Become a super spy and learn clever ways of performing tasks as we take a journey into the world of investigation that spies use!

Andrew will be entering the 3rd grade. He had a wonderful time at camp, and is very excited about going next summer. He also goes to the weekly program offered at his school, all 4 sessions.
