It’s Time to Enroll at the New Public Charter School in Martin County

Treasure Coast Classical Academy (TCCA) Opening in August 2019

By Jackie Holfelder December 6, 2018

Judging from their remarkable response, many Treasure Coast parents are seeking the type of excellent education for their children that will be offered by Treasure Coast Classical Academy (TCCA).

If you’re one of them but haven’t taken the important step of registration yet, time is fleeting!

There will be approximately 700 slots available and the school has already received more than 400 applications. Right now is the best time to enroll your child by December 31, 2018. If the total number of applications received exceeds the number of slots available. TCCA will conduct a drawing by lottery on January 1, 2019.

Scheduled to open in August, 2019 TCCA, a tuition-free charter school, will have classes in grades K-6. One grade will be added each year, with the school ultimately offering grades K-12.

TCCA believes the greater goal of schools is to produce students who communicate effectively, are virtuous, possess cultural literacy, and are active and productive members of American society.

Their mission is to train the minds and improve the hearts of young people through a content-rich classical education in the liberal arts and sciences, with instruction in the principles of moral character and civic virtue.

The planned location for TCCA will be 1400 SE Cove Road in Stuart.

The staff and curriculum will develop within students the intellectual and personal habits and skills upon which responsible, independent, and flourishing lives are built, in the firm belief that such lives are the basis of a free and just society.

Two upcoming Parent Information Meetings will give you the chance to learn more about the charter school concept, opportunities, how to enroll, the selection lottery, classical curriculum and much more.
