Stuart Congregational Church Fishing Camp

May 17, 2018

Fishing Camp at Stuart Congregational Church will teach kids the basics of fishing and sportsmanship in a safe and friendly environment. The Camp includes a brand new fishing rod and reel, tackle box, tackle, 4 fishing trips, and a awesome fishing shirt. After attending the week of camp, campers will know how to rig a fishing pole, how to tie knots, and will have knowledge of how to catch fish in our local fishing area.

Every day campers will be accompanied by plenty of adult camp counselors from SCC. Included in the Counselors is Mark Nygard, the Director of Youth at SCC. Mark has loved fishing ever since he was a small child and has always had a desire to see kids learn to fish and grow in their relationship with God. Because of his desires he started the SCC Fishing Camps.

Parents are asked to drop campers of at the church fellowship hall and pick campers up in the same location Monday through Thursday. On Friday we will meet at Pirates Cove at 8:00 AM to board the Safari 1. Campers are to be picked up at Pirates Cove at 1:30 PM. Friday evening we will meet back at SCC at 6:00 PM for a family fish fry.

Campers need to bring a lunch, snack and water bottle daily.

We are looking forward to another great summer of Camp and hope to see you soon!
