Pineapple Festival Headline Concerts Announced

The 2016 Jensen Beach Pineapple Festival lineup offers the most unique balance of headline concerts in the event's 29 year history. The festival returns to downtown Jensen Beach November 11, 12, and 13, 2016

Ron Rose, President CEO of the Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce made the announcement. “We are always excited to announce the Pineapple Festival concert lineup. The festival will kickoff, Friday, November 11th with a concert by country music's hottest new star, Drake White and The Big Fire. In partnership with the Coast 101.3 18th Birthday Bash, the headline concert on Saturday night, November 12th, will be 90's world renowned pop rock group, Smash Mouth and on Sunday, November 13th, Christian rock star Lincoln Brewster will be center stage.

The festival gets underway on Veterans Day, Friday, November 11 at 6pm, when all veterans will be honored with free admission to the festival. Adult festival general admission is $15 and student general admission is $5. Kids under 42” tall will be admitted free when accompanied by a ticket holding parent or guardian.

Purchase a $10 advance admission ticket and get $5 off the $15 gate admission.  Advance tickets can be purchased at any Seacoast Bank location from October 10th through November 10th.

Midway lovers can ride all the carnival rides non-stop on Family Day, Sunday, November 13 for only $20. The wristband ride special does not include festival admission. For safety, kids under 42 inches tall may be required to ride some of the attractions with a paying adult. 
 
The Pineapple Festival will offer free shuttle bus service to and from the festival every 20 minutes all three days. Shuttle bus pick-up and parking is located in the far west parking lot at the Treasure Coast Square Mall directly behind Sears. The shuttle bus schedule is Friday, November 11th (5:30pm - 11:30pm), Saturday, November 12th (1:30pm - 11:30pm) and Sunday, November 13th (11:30am - 8pm).
 
New attractions this year include the Tricky Dog Show, a circus style comedy dog act filled with a cast of talented canine clowns performing an action packed show full of surprises. Rollo, the biggest kid in the world will make his first festival appearance as will Bruce Sarafian, a world record juggler. Returning this year is the popular comedy magic show.
 
Not only does the festival have a rich history of attracting world-class concerts, the music event also attracts top local and regional bands. Scheduled to perform this year on the Florida Lottery Stage are the Maggie Baugh Band, Samantha Russell Band, 33 Years Band, BitterSweetHeart, Melinda Elena Band, J. Buzzi, Relapse Band, Alita & the Boyz, Country Line Road, Aymber Plizak, TK BLU and the UNCOOL, also Ed Gomez and Austin Binner.
 
Since 1990, residents from the island of Eleuthera, Bahamas travel to Jensen Beach and present an authentic Bahamian market that showcases island crafts and music. Festival goers always look forward to the heart pounding sound of the colorful Junkanoo parade and the sweet island music by the country's most famous band, The Brilanders.
