Motivational Speaker and former WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) star Chris Hollyfield will be bringing his high energy anti bullying presentation “Champions Don’t Bully” to Stuart on Monday, March 7, 2016. Hosted by Tykes & Teens, the free event is from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the 10th Street Community Center at 724 SE 10th Street in Stuart.
Measuring only 4 foot 4, Chris Hollyfield maximizes his visual difference to help students recognize and avoid teasing and bullying by peers. This presentation is recommended for kids ages 10 and older and their parents. Hollyfield will also be bringing his presentation to the following schools during the first week of March: Dr. David L. Anderson Middle, Hidden Oaks Middle, Indiantown Middle, Murray Middle and Bessey Creek Elementary.
This event is being brought to the area in response to higher than average incidents of bullying among Martin County students as reported by the Florida Youth Substance Abuse Survey, which measures unhealthy behaviors among middle & high school youth.
