8th Annual Festival of Trees Fundraiser Seeks Tree & Wreath Donors

July 31, 2015
The 8th Annual Tykes & Teens Festival of Trees and Lights will be held at the Flagler Center in Downtown Stuart November 16-21, 2015. The event has grown immensely through the years and is moving to this larger venue to accommodate more trees, wreaths and attendees. While the Festival will continue to host the traditional tree and wreath raffle as well as the popular free breakfast and photos with Santa, several new components have been added to the schedule. These include a Ladies' Afternoon Tea and Tiny Tot Holiday Fashion Show.

More than 25 donors and decorators have already committed to participating as tree and wreath sponsors, but there are a few spots left for creative businesses, civic groups or individuals who would like to donate a decorated artificial Christmas tree or wreath. The Festival welcomes traditional, modern and themed designs. Small trees are encouraged, as are Menorahs or other Hanukkah related items  for the silent auction.

The Festival is the major annual fundraiser for Tykes & Teens, an award winning local non-profit agency that provides mental health counseling and drug and alcohol prevention programming to youth and their families. The agency has served more than 25,000 local children and adolescents since 1996, and provides services regardless of ability to pay.
