The Martin County School District welcomes future students and families to their Countdown to Kindergarten orientation. On Thursday, February 2, 2023, each elementary school in Martin County will host orientation events where families can receive all of the information needed to prepare for kindergarten.
Parents/caregivers of children who will be five (5) years old on or before September 1, 2023, are invited to visit their home-zoned school. See attendance boundary map HERE to determine which elementary school your child is zoned for based on your address. Families will have the opportunity to tour their child's future school, meet the leadership team, visit a kindergarten classroom and learn more about how they can prepare their child for success in elementary school. Staff will provide families with information on school meal program, Extended Day (afterschool care) opportunities and how to enroll their child in our academically high-performing school district.
