Helping Pets Find Forever Homes

Meet Sonny - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

Looking for a dog with a sunny disposition? Sunny is the gal for you! This sweet lady is a staff and volunteer favorite – and we aren’t sure why she hasn’t been adopted yet. Sunny is very sweet, walks well on leash, and keeps a tidy kennel. She is undergoing treatment for heartworms and would love to complete her treatment with you.

Sunny is 10 years young and we think she may be an American Pit Bull Terrier mix. Stop by the HSTC main shelter to meet with this happy, loving lady.

Meet Moxie - Our Macaroni Kitty of the Week

Moxie is a young senior kitty (only 10 years old!) looking for a hospice home to spend his remaining time. Moxie has advanced heart disease and is on special food and medication to make him as comfortable as possible and hopefully slow down the progression of this disease. As of December 2021, our shelter vet has estimated his life expectancy to be around 6 to 12 months. Moxie came in to HSTC care in late November 2021 when his human had a stroke and could no longer properly care for him.

For more information on Moxie and his needs, please give us a call at 772-223-8822 or stop by the HSTC main shelter located at 4100 SW Leighton Farm Avenue in Palm City.
