Helping Pets Find a Forever Home

Meet Zoey - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week

Zoey is a 3 year old gorgeous Catahoula Leopard Dog Mix. According to her previous owner she is both house and crate trained. She knows several basic commands such as “sit” and “stay”. Her favorite activities are going for long walks, playing with a variety of toys, and chasing lizards and squirrels in the yard. Zoey can be picky about her dog friends and is a little nervous around small children. If Zoey sounds like she may be the pup for you, please give us a call at 772-223-8822 to schedule an appointment to meet with her.

Meet Grandma Pippin - Our Macaroni Kitty of the Week

Grandma Pippin arrived at HSTC as a stray in late October. While we don’t know anything about her past, our medical team was quick to discover that Grandma Pippin is diabetic. Her diabetes is currently regulated with a combination of insulin and a special diet. She is a petite little lady and is one of your youngest senior kitties at only 9 years old. Grandma Pippin was in a foster home where it was discovered that she would probably prefer to be the only feline in her new home.

COVID-19 Reopening Phase II: HSTC has returned to normal hours of operation: Monday through Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM and 10 AM to 4 PM on Sundays. Shelter remains closed to foot traffic and visits remain by appointment only. Please call 772-223-8822 to schedule you appointment today! All available pets can be viewed online at hstc1.org.
