Meet Cookie - Our Macaroni Dog of the Week
Hi! I’m Cookie and all the volunteers here at HSTC like to tell me I’m just as sweet as my name suggests.
I am so totally over being here! I love going for walks, and playtime, and cuddles, but I’m ready for a home of my own now. Are you a high-energy person looking for a high-energy playful pup? Then look no further! I love being the center of attention and playing all kinds of games. Staff even says I’m one smart cookie. When I get bored I find creative ways of expressing myself – usually by chewing things into beautiful artwork.
I’m a HSTC Dolly’s Dream Dog! This means my adoption fee has been sponsored AND I come with a bunch of extra goodies to help me adjust to my new home. Some of these bonus goodies include a crate and a FREE 6 week training class! I’d really like to participate in a training class with you.

Meet Jaws - Our Macaroni Kitty of the Week
My name is Jaws and I am a very special kitty looking for my new home! I have something humans call Cerebellar Hypoplasia. This is a long, fancy medical term that means I’m a bit wobbly. I don’t let this hold me back from any of my favorite things like playing and exploring! My plucky, can-do attitude quickly earned me a spot as a staff and volunteer favorite. I came to HSTC from a partner shelter in September following Hurricane Sandy and my adoption fee has been sponsored! I am currently hanging out with some of my friends at the HSTC North Thrift Store. COVID-19 Reopening Phase II: HSTC has returned to normal hours of operation: Monday through Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM and 10 AM to 4 PM on Sundays.
