Prior to the start of school, the Martin County School District asked parents/guardians to commit to either the traditional (in school) or remote learning option for their child(ren) to begin the academic year. As we approach the second half of the first nine weeks of school, a form has been launched in the FOCUS Parent Portal for parents/guardians to request a change in their child(ren)'s learning format if desired.
The form will remain available until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, September 15, 2020. Requests will be approved on Friday, September 18, 2020, for an effective learning option change date of Monday, September 21, 2020.
Approximately 39% of Martin County students are currently participating in remote learning.
