By Georgina Love, Treasure Coast Fencing Club Sponsored Content November 3, 2019

Treasure Coast Fencing Club in Stuart is teaching the sport of fencing
Combine strategy with athletics - It's physical chess!
A workout for mind and body. Fence for fun and recreation or competition.

TCFC has been around for over 15 years. Learn to fence - don't just play swordfighting video games!  The club offers Olympic (electric) foil.   Once the absolute basics are covered, they are practiced a lot and new skills are added.  Before you know it - you're dueling with a sword!  What could be more fun!

Classes for beginners also include conditioning, agility games and drills. Youth learn confidence, increase their focus, improve motor skills and concentration. In addition, fencing promotes good sportsmanship; learn to win and lose in a gracious manner.  Fencing becomes a way to express yourself, get your mind really engaged and it's also a super workout!

Our 1,000 square foot club easy to get to, right on US 1.  Gear is provided to begin, and then students can obtain their own.

Students range from 9 - 75 (yes, many times parents decide to learn as well it is a sport you can enjoy with your children). We offer Beginner, Intermediate, Adult and Open Fencing.

Coach Georgina Love brings 20+ years of experience and love of the sport, competing locally, nationally and internationally.
