House of Hope's Golden Gate Center for Enrichment is offering a FREE Pet Education Workshop: "Animals Have Feelings, Too," on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
The workshop, presented by the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, teaches both compassion and safety through activities, sharing information, and interacting with a therapy dog on-site. Surprising to many, animals share many of the same emotions that people do!
Kids will learn about how animals may present certain behaviors based on their emotions and how we can read an animal’s body language to stay safe.
