Students from Florida Arts & Dance Company (FADC) are hard at work preparing for the upcoming performance of The Nutcracker. Recently, students slipped into the many whimsical show costumes to ensure a perfect fit for the journey into the “Land of Sweets”.
Following auditions in August, students commit to weekly dance classes including Saturday rehearsals. Scene by scene, FADC dance instructors work with students to develop and perfect show choreography and technique.
“The Nutcracker performance is something that our students and the community look forward to every year.” said Joann Gallagher, FADC President, “It’s a holiday tradition enjoyed by everyone involved.”
FADC performs The Nutcracker at the Lyric Theatre in downtown Stuart on Friday, December 5th and Saturday, December 6th, both performances are at 2:00 pm.
