Banner Lake Club to Chili and BBQ Cook-Off

The Banner Lake Club will be holding their first ever Chili and BBQ Cook-Off on Saturday, November 8 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. This is a fundraiser with the proceeds to be used to support educational, recreational and athletic programs for the community, especially children and seniors.

A team of judges will select the best chili, as well as the best BBQ from the participants. There will also be a separate award voted on by the attendees. In addition, there will be other food and beverages for sale, as well as shopping with local vendor booths, and activities and games for children.

There are vendor applications available at $50 per table, with a deadline of November 3, 2014. For additional information on becoming a vendor, contact Lynette Hazelton at 772-530-5946 or Rob Ranieri at 772-260-9543.

The Banner Lake Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit with a mission is to improve the quality of life for Hobe Sound residents, primarily those in and around the Banner Lake Community requiring income assistance.
