Welcome to another jammed-packed week of events here in Martin County! We are very much looking forward to attending our first Hobgoblins on Main Street on Saturday. We've got our craft all lined up, some treats for the little ghosts and goblins, and an awesome goody bag from our friends at Children's Dentistry of Stuart to help you take care of those little teeth after all the sweets. Please make sure you stop by and say hello if your weekend plans take you to the downtown Stuart area.

In addition to Hobgoblins on Main Street there are 10 other Halloween & Fall Festival events happening this weekend and they're all listed in our Fall Festival Guide. Be sure to check it out so you don't miss any of these great events.

Other things to look for in this week's issue: The F-22 Raptor Demonstration Team will visit the Blake Library on 10/31, and local boys qualify for the state soccer challenge. The Children's Services Council is on the November ballot for reauthorization and the Florida TaxWatch has endorsed it and explains how it benefits our children and community. Keep Martin Beautiful is asking for nominees for their annual Environmental Stewardship Awards; and if you are dissatisfied with your child's grades, the Reading Success Learning Center provides some possible reasons for your child's challenges and explains how they can help.

Don't forget our regular features follow the calendar listings so be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see this week's of upcoming walks/runs, Macaroni Dad's column, the pets of the week, and of course, our Kids Eat Free (or Cheap) listings.

That's all for now...until next time, have a fantastic weekend and a wonderful week ahead.
