Halloween Festivities Kick Off Stuart Air Show Weekend

As parents dash around town preparing for Halloween, folks with the Stuart Air Show are doing the same. This year’s air show lands on Halloween weekend and the excitement kicks off with special Halloween nighttime aerobatic performances, fireworks display, and live music. Trick or Treating and Costume Contests (for kids and adults!) make the Stuart Air Show’s Halloween Night Show the perfect place to be for Halloween.  Festivities start at 5:00 pm. All candy and decorations for the Halloween Night Show have been generously provided by CenterState Bank.

Costume contest prizes for kids will include four general admission tickets and unlimited carnival rides for first place; four general admission tickets and ten free rides for second place and four general admission tickets and five free rides for third place.

Prizes for adults will include two general admission tickets and a ride in the Huey helicopter; second place receives two general admission tickets and a ride in a Robinson R-22 helicopter and third place receives two general admission tickets and two tickets to the Beer Garden.

An added element is the annual Dirty Flight Suit Party, an exclusive VIP experience where guests have the opportunity to mix and mingle with the pilots and performers of the air show, enjoy a delicious dinner, drinks, and of course, the nighttime aerobatics and fireworks display. The Dirty Flight Suit Party begins at 5:00 pm and ends at 10:00 pm.

Main dates for the 25th Anniversary Stuart Air Show are Saturday, November 1 and Sunday, November 2 at Martin County Airport – Witham Field. Several new performers including the USAF F-22 Raptor and the USMC AV-8B Harrier, are scheduled to perform both on Saturday and Sunday.

The mission of the Stuart Air Show Inc. is to promote a safe, family entertainment event while providing financial support to its benefiting non-profit organizations including: the Martin County Community Foundation, Road to Victory Military Museum, Special Olympics, ARC of Martin County, Civil Air Patrol, Boy Scouts of America, as many well other deserving community charities. The air show offers many different types fundraising opportunities for local non-profit organizations and community groups. Nearly a dozen organizations benefit from the show each year.
