Happy Fall....well, almost!

The Autumnal Equinox occurs on Monday, September 22nd around 10:30 PM and with it comes the official fall season, which is this Macaroni Family's favorite time of year. We just love the crisp, fall air (coming soon!) and all the amazing fall festivals and pumpkin patches. Halloween is a particular favorite of MiniMac's and she's looking forward to dressing up and entering a costume contest or two.

We are gathering info for our fall festival, pumpkin patches, and holiday festival guides and welcome your assistance in getting this info to us. If your church or organization is planning activities that are open to the public, please let us know about it. Events may be directly submitted HERE or you can email info to me at amandap@macaronikid.com.

The results are in for this year's Gold Daisy Awards! A great big THANK YOU to all who nominated and voted in this year's awards. Be sure to check the article in this week's issue to see if you're favorites came out on top!

In this week's issue you'll learn how you can participate in YMCA SportsWorld's Free Open Gym day, which is Saturday, 9/20; Ms. Jayme will tell you about great board books for little ones; and Camille Aloi of Reading Success Learning Center shares some fun activities to help strengthen your child's understanding of good writing traits.

Don't forget our regular features follow the calendar listings so be sure to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see this week's Macaroni Pets, our list of upcoming walks/runs, Macaroni Dad's column, and of course, our Kids Eat Free (or Cheap) listings.
