Star Spangled Stuart Brings 4th of July Fun for the Whole Family

July 4, 2014
Star Spangled Stuart is right around the corner, a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly Fourth of July festival at the beautiful waterfront Flagler Park and Riverwalk Stage.
This year’s festival will include children’s activities, face painting, pony rides, water slides, various carnival games, food trucks, vendors, beer and wine, live music on two stages, and more starting at 2:00 p.m. and lasting through Martin County’s ONLY Fourth of July fireworks display.  The kid’s area features face painting, bounce houses, and pony rides.

Live musical performances by Sierra Band, Shadow Creek, Ben Prestage, Emily Brooke, Stuart Community Band, Andrew Morris Band, Solid Gold, and Tom Jackson Band will take place on the Audi Stuart Stage in Flagler Park and on the Infiniti Stuart Stage at Riverwalk.

Star Spangled Stuart has again secured rare 12 shell firework displays, and several 10 shell displays as well, promising not only spectacular fireworks, but one of the best firework shows in the Nation this 4th of July.  These special fireworks feature color-changing stars and stunning patterns and are made locally Florida.

Earlier in the day, the Soap Box Derby will hit the streets on Flagler Avenue.  The races will take place during 11am-1pm, with a special race between local celebrity contenders.

This FREE event takes place from 2pm-11:00pm on Thursday, July 4 at Flagler Park in Historic Downtown Stuart.  Star Spangled Stuart is presented by Kiwanis Club of Martin County, along with 20 Founding Fathers who make the event possible.
