The Martin County Office of Tourism and Marketing and the Arts Council of Martin County are proud to announce ArtsFest has been named one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast for 2017 by the Southeast Tourism Society (STS). The best events across the southeast Unites States compete to receive a Top 20 designation. The Martin County Office of Tourism and Marketing and the Arts Council of Martin County collaborated on the application for this prestigious designation.
The 30th annual ArtsFest will be returning to Memorial Park on February 11-12, 2017. This popular festival attracts more than 300,000 guests to downtown Stuart. The Arts Council of Martin County produces ArtsFest annually to offer this art and cultural event to the public.
"ArtsFest is a signature event for the Arts Council and our community where we celebrate the arts in all forms! We are always looking for ways to expand upon our success and offer outstanding cultural events for residents and visitors," said Nancy Turrell, Executive Director of the Arts Council of Martin County.
The STS Top 20 Events program has highlighted events and festival around the Southeast since 1985. Travel industry experts select 20 events per month, and STS publicizes them throughout the United States. The complete list is published on two websites: EscapeToTheSoutheast.com and Travel Media Press Room.
