Join Coastal Living in Historic Downtown Stuart for the Official “Happiest Seaside Town” Celebration

The Martin County Office of Tourism and the City of Stuart join with Stuart Main Street and the Downtown Business Association of Stuart to welcome Coastal Living for the official celebration of Stuart’s designation as ”America’s Happiest Seaside Town.” Writers and editors from Coastal Living will spend the weekend in Martin County, broadcasting from Coastal Living Radio and www.facebook.com/CoastalLivingMag as they discover Stuart and the surrounding area. The public is invited to join them as they cap off their visit with a special Rock’n Riverwalk concert featuring Ryan and Friends on the Riverwalk Stage Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

“Locals know – and visitors soon discover – there’s nothing like a Sunday in Downtown Stuart,” said Stuart Main Street Executive Director, Thondra Lanese. “From laidback brunches and strolling the Green Market to relaxing to music on the Riverwalk, spending Sunday downtown just makes you smile.”

“We are ecstatic to welcome the Coastal Living Magazine team to Stuart for a weekend of showing off what we do best; locally sourced dining, eco-friendly attractions, and pristine public beaches,” said Nerissa Okiye, Martin County Tourism and Marketing Manager.

The Coastal Living tour also coincides with the launch of #ProtectOurParadise, a new campaign focusing on the destinations and activities people love in Stuart and Martin County and the importance of supporting a healthy tourism industry while advocating to resolve the threat to local waterways from freshwater discharges from Lake Okeechobee.

The Coastal Living tour was organized by Stuart and the Martin County Office of Tourism and Marketing with the support of retail, restaurant, hotels and attractions throughout the county and sponsored in part by the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association and Visit Florida.
