Greetings Macaroni Families...we hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and are now enjoying a long, holiday weekend with your friends and family! It is Thanksgiving afternoon as I write this and my phone is currently blowing up with group texts of love and happy wishes from members of my family who are scattered far and wide around the globe. What a great reminder of how lucky I am to be part of such an amazing family....I love you all very much!

Nominations for the 2015/2016 Gold Daisy Awards closed this past Sunday. We received hundreds of nominations and we are going through and validating and tabulating them all this week. We will present you with the finalists when the voting round opens next Friday!
As the start of the holiday shopping season officially opens today with Black Friday, please remember our local businesses need you to keep them going. Once more we ask that you please support the fine businesses found in our 2015 Holiday Gift Guide. As tomorrow (11/28) is also Small Business/Shop Small Saturday, we encourage you to support our local economy by shopping the small local businesses in our area. Let's keep the money flowing in our community!
