Comics, gaming, cosplay, movies...whatever you're a fanatic about the Martin County Library System wants to give you a chance to celebrate that at the first ever MCLS FanFest! at the Blake Library, 2351 SE Monterey Road, Stuart from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2015.

- Who's Dr. Who? - Jump in your TARDIS and journey back to the beginning of this classic British sci-fi show. We'll briefly discuss each Doctor, some facts about their actors, and show a highlight clip from their best episodes. Meet with other Whovians and make a button to show your favorite Doctor some love. Allons-y!
- Manga Magic Class (Additional Registration Required) - Want to create manga? Learn a short history of this Japanese pop culture phenomenon, learn how to storyboard and script out your story, and put it all together in a four-panel strip. Can't draw but can write? Come on in and we'll give you some scriptwriting pro-tips!
- Minecraft Breakout Session (Additional Registration Required) - Minecraft is a game about breaking and placing blocks. At first, people built structures to protect against nocturnal monsters, but as the game grew players worked together to create wonderful, imaginative things. It can also be about adventuring with friends or watching the sun rise over a blocky ocean. It's pretty. Brave players battle terrible things in The Nether, which is more scary than pretty. You can also visit a land of mushrooms if it sounds more like your cup of tea.
- Harry Potter Potions Class (Additional Registration Required) - Attention Muggles: You are invited to attend a Hogwarts Potions Class! Learn the correct way to make magical potions. There is no foolish wand-waving, so no wands are necessary.
